Well, with all the beautiful weather we been having it was only right that we went to the park today, and i took this piccy of Ted on my phone and quite rightly so Austin named him ABSO-Baby. Lee told me i had to take a piccy and put it on my blog so here we are.

Getting back to normality

Howdy all, well what a busy weekend i went to a trade show this weekend called 'Stitches' all to do with Altered Treasures. It was good fun if not totally exhausting!!! saw lots of big names in the scrapbooking world, Tim Holtz, Emily Adams, Dawn Bibby, the guys from Rusty Pickle, and saw lots of amazing new lines which have just bee launched in CHA. Oh for those of you who know our little show your gonna be in for a great treat, so if you haven't been into the shop keep you eye out!!!!!

Well, even if i did enjoy some adult time away from my boys it was great to get back to them, it was the first time i had left ted for any length of time. But predictably everything was dandy, although i can't say the same about me when the Sat Nav gave up the ghost and we got very lost in the center of Birmingham!!!!!

Ted is now crawling properly, not Ted style anymore, not content with that he's now pulling himself up on the furniture and walking around it all.

Austin is growing far too fast for my liking, he's off to Bodium Castle tomorrow with the school and has started Beavers now!!! Where has my 1st baby gone.........

I don't know where the time goes, I haven't blogged for ages, I have been a bit aowl from my team mates on UKS sorry guys. I seem to have been rushing around for about two weeks achieving diddly squat!!!!! I really want to do some scrapping, but I don't know what, which photo to use, which papers to stroke nothing!!!!!! The good news is that I'm slowing working my way round my new toy Adobe Photoshop, which is fabby, Thanks Neil.

Spent the day with my friend Helen yesterday getting some new shots of our boys for the Bloom Photography website and we got some amazing ones, here is one of them, I only have the pics of Ted atm, but i will get the ones of Austin too.

Snow!?!?!?!?

Well, yes Ok we ad some snow, but not nearly enough................. and as usual utter chaos descends on us. schools closed, roads at grid-lock, weather warnings all over Sussex, but hey by 11 am it didn't even look as if it had been snowing. OK i walked to school, because of other drivers on the road rather than my own driving but it was really good fun Austin and my friends daughter threw snowballs all the way, normally at me!!!!!! As these pictures show as soon as Austin's eyes opened and he knew there was snow outside, we had to get dressed quick and go and playing it before Des went to work. HO UM after weather warnings all night this morning we have woken up to the smallest amount of snow so yes I'm afraid it's back to school again today.

Penguins

Just one of those things you wish you had never said!!!!! One day trying to get Austin out of the fridge, I told him that you couldn't keep the fridge door open because of global waring and that fridges are bad for the atmosphere, if everyone did this then all the polar icecaps would melt, there for the penguin's wouldn't have anywhere to live. So now my fridge door keeps coming open if you don't close it all the way, there I was merrily preparing the veg for the Sunday roast, in walks Austin and says "Mum don't forget the penguins!!!!", shutting the fridge door for me. Bless him he is aware of recycling and global warming and He's constantly telling me all sorts of things. Oh the wisdom of a 6 yr old.

Tuesday

Bath times are always fun in our house, althougth I'm never too sure, who ends up wetter me or the boys!!!!

Things have been really busy here. I'm working for my very good friend Helen at Altered Treasures (please see link), where we have just had the most amazing order land straight from the states, with some beautiful bits and bobs in, my fav must have been the Tim Holtz Foam Stamps. then we launched this months kit and well, that flew off the shelves faster than we could stock it!!!!! which in it's self is fantastic, as it means we are getting it right!!!!!!

Blogging

Well, thanks to the baby not wanting to sleep last night, I ended up browsing round looking at the boards, and found a thread on slideshows on blogs.........

Well after much swearing at the puter an various sites, Imanaged to sort a slide show, then I had the problem of trying to upload it to my blog, finally this morning thanks to snipper on UKS I managed to do it, so here it is. Then I decided I really needed to update the whole thing, with Links to my friends Blogs and Websites that I work for. So after more swearing and shouting I think I might have finally cracked it!!!!!!!

So I'm all done and updated ready for a new year of blogging.

Well Happy New Year everyone, I hope there are not too many poorly heads out there!!!!!

We had a lovely evening up at a friends house, but actually managed to stay fairly sober, which is VERY unusual, and for those of you who know my husband, yes he actually managed to keep his clothes on this time.!!!!

seen as it was such a nice day, we decide to go for a walk along Peacehaven seafront with the dog and Austin's bike, it always used to be something we did when I was young, so I was really nice to do it with my children. Although it was very windy the sun was shining which made it all better. I tried my hand at some seanery pictures. Think I need t practice that a bit.

So, come on then what's your new years resolutions, mine are to loose 2 St, make some time for some scrapping, and hopefully give up smoking!!! Ok don't laugh bit I'm going to try.
