Happy Christmas

Well, after the sad news of Grandma, we have all just had a wonderful Christmas, which she would have been sitting on her star (as austin likes to think of her) watching us all making sure we were having fun, and we were.

The boys had a great time, Austin still hasn't got round to playing with it all, and Edward could stll be eating all the paper if we had let him LOL.

Hope you all had a great time too. Looking forward to reading your comments, here's some pics for you.

Edith May Drew

On the left is an LO I did of my Grandma, using the very 1st photos ever taken of her, and above is one of the last photos ever taken of her, and the 3 subsequent generations.
The reason for this Blog entry, is that the wonderful strong lady pasted away tonight ages 93, yes that's right 93. She had a hard life when she was bringing up 4 small children after the war, but when things became easier for her she had a wonderful life and has left all her Grandchildren wonderful memories of her. Some of my strongest memories are playing outside her house on the little wall, the 'scary' lamp shades in the small bedroom, so she always slept with me, her making me eat porridge for breakfast, and the smell of her baking Rock Buns, Hey Guy she always had to put icing on them for you. Rock Buns just aren't the same without icing. Still every now and again I smell something and it reminds me of Grandma's kitchen, suppose tha's another LO in the making.
I don't really know what else to write, but I just had to write something. Love you Grandma, we will never forget you xxxx
